THE STORY
A WOMAN REMINISCES OVER HER CHILDHOOD in the southernmost place in the world, Ushuaia, Argentina. The only thing SHE EVER WANTED is a sibling, but she gets more than she asked for when expanding the family means leaving her beloved hometown to start over in New York City.
THE THEMES
A female-led story about finding one’s roots, ‘South’ explores themes of FAMILY AND belonging and is inspired by the writer’s experiences as an Argentinian living in the US.
THE MUSIC
Performed by the writer and accompanied by a guitarist and a cellist, the music blends South American MUSIC with contemporary folk-pop and Americana sounds.
COME FOR THE STORY.
STAY FOR THE MUSIC.
